      Everyday operations of a busy office. The INMO is a trade union for Irish Nurses and Midwives. A far cry from any area I was experienced in. Being part of this Organisation was a massive learning curve, and one of which I truly enjoyed. Daily tasks involved working hands on with the Regional Officers, drafting letters, making calls, receiving calls, scheduling meetings. It also involved the organisation of events, meetings, training courses. Of course working with companies to book accommodation, flights, stationery, paper work, reports, invoices and lots more. The most beneficial side to this job was learning what goes on in our hospitals/surgeries, and in people's everyday lives. Life threatening events, to actual loss of lives. From being in the wrong place at the wrong time to just plain stupidity. Everyone needs someone to stand in their corner.
