Brian Madden Dubey, AIA, ACHA, AHJ

i first met Jane in the mid-nineties when I was doing AHJ plans reviews and approvals for the Department of Health, State of Maryland and found her to be very creative in all phases of health care project I reviewed for her. Later as a member of the facilities guidelines myself, Jane became a leader of the new residential health care vol 2 of the 2014 Guidelines. Her leadership helped develop the residential movement for the future of long term care in America. When you desire to see what the future is thinking I would recommend you ask Jane Rohde

✔️ Peter C. Brooks (he, him, his)

In my opinion, Jane is the most brilliant star in our universe. She has made everything grow and without her we would be in perpetual darkness.

JSR Associates, Inc., a small woman-owned business, was started in 1996, by founder Jane Rohde. The mission of the company is based upon the philosophy that design for seniors begins by supporting operations and care models. The built environment, in turn, provides opportunities for improving resident outcomes, promoting independence, and sustaining dignity and purpose. JSR Associates, Inc. has provided senior living consulting services for projects that are evaluating and repositioning their continuing care retirement communities (CCRC), adult living communities, assisted living projects, and skilled nursing projects around the country. The goal during strategic master planning is to overlay the existing plan and concepts with current trends in senior living, reimbursements, staff needs and operational function, culture change, and care models to meet the future needs of current residents, as well as the next generation of residents. Pre-design services; including focus groups, existing community site evaluation, master planning and programming services are all tools used during the recommended strategic master planning process. This process has been successful for several clients, including for-profit and non-profit developers and government agencies, to position their projects for the future. JSR often purposefully collaborates with local design and planning firms to provide the best overall senior living knowledge base in conjunction with familiarity with local code, agencies, regulation, and demographic information.
