My role covers a variety of responsibilities, and requires the ability to multitask and be flexible, work well under pressure and meet deadlines, combined with effective communication skills, both oral and written. I pride myself on my attention to detail and going the extra mile. Until recently I worked as the Office Administrator in the Richmond office of Harcourts. There I was involved in the day to day running of the office, the management of listings, organisation and booking of advertising, the preparation and processing of contracts and general support to the staff, including searching for titles, and obtaining property files from the relevant council. It was also my job to ensure all files were up to date, and information was readily accessible when required by the team, and manage stationary stocks.I am also required to process deposits through our Trust Account and follow the strict audit guidelines set out by the industry, action the disbursal of funds and the payroll to pay our sales team when a deposit is released from the Trust Account, and i do the daily reconciliation of our trading accounts.Another part of my role is to support our Property Manager, whereby I am also responsible for receipting rents, processing invoices against the owners and doing the charge outs (where appropriate) to tenants in our rental division. This includes actioning the processing of payments to the owners, and monthly and year end statements for the owners, working closely with the rental manager in regards to correspondence and management from an administration perspective. I received my Real Estate Salepersons License in May 2018

I completed my Real Estate Salesperson Certificate and then I worked full time for Franklin, in an administrative role until the birth of our son in April 1999. From then until 2010 I worked part time, either delivering flyers, or in the office as needed. The role involved writing advertising, dealing with correspondence in and out, managing his database of clients as well as corresponding with current clients.

During my time with the bank I worked in all areas, from general banking enquiries and teller work to personal and small business lending. I also worked in our mortgage department, when we processed lending and ensured that the bank LVR's and other lending criteria were met. This role liased with local solicitors in the registration of mortgages over properties. During my final 18 months, I worked as an analyst/assistant for the Business and Rural managers, which involved analysing financial accounts and reveiwing loan limits. I also did an accounting paper through Nelson Polytech at this time. The banking industry went through some significant changes during this time, from being a teller based industry, where the transactions were predominantly over the counter, the issuing of bank cheques and many of our customers dealing in cheque payments, to the advent of eftpos and atm transactions, and during this time, I had the privaledge of being selected to work on one of our project teams, who were charged with coming up with innovative ideas to reduce customer waiting times in branches. This action team met in Christchurch every month for about 8 months, and many of our intitatives were rolled out across the company.
