      The purpose of the EVENT COORDINATOR (EC) is to serve as a “hub” for most, if not all Diocesan meetings, conferences and events both on and off campus. To alleviate the pressures of managing the minutia of event and meal planning and to better organize the use of diocesan space, time and resources, the EC serves as an organizer of those resources. To better serve the diocesan staff in making sure that scheduled events are properly staffed, promoted, and more comfortably attended, the EC makes the event schedule transparent and available to all diocesan staffers to view. The EC manages the room-use calendar for Episcopal House. The EC "produces"/directs most major services such as ordinations, confirmations, clergy renewal of vows, convention Eucharist and morning prayer. The EC also functions as staff liaison for NAMASTE, the diocesan anti-racism committee.
