• Led CDOT’s PMO focused on supporting consistent, efficient, and effective project and program delivery that best serves the needs of the traveling public by promoting uniform project management processes, systems and tools, and consolidation and analysis of project and program data. Operated in close collaboration with the regions to identify challenges and deliver solutions with emphasis on CDOT’s larger objectives related to asset management, safety, mobility, and management of expenditures. • Worked across the program/project lifecycle, spanning headquarters and region organizations, to support all aspects of CDOT’s capital construction program. Project manager responsible for subcontracting, design, construction, operational readiness, and commissioning of various research and development facility improvement projects including: $33.5 million dollar Integrated Biorefinery Research Facility (IBRF), numerous facility improvement projects within the IBRF, $3 million dollar vapor phase upgrading pilot scale reactor system, and multiple thermochemical R&D facilities in support of a critical Department of Energy research milestone (methanol decomposition, recirculating regenerating reactor, and fuel synthesis reactors). Routinely requested to facilitate getting "problem projects" back on track including the Vehicle Testing Integration Facility, the High Pressure Hydrogen Fueling Facility, and the Process Demonstration Integration Laboratory ISO Class 1000 Clean Room.

Engineering Manager

Proficiently managed Denver Water construction contractor and consultant staffs averaging 215 personnel and peaking at 350 personnel. This resulted in successful completion of one to two multi-million dollar projects and 20-30 smaller projects annually, encompassing raw water, treatment, and distribution facilities. Engineering program management included:1. Design and construction of a $100 million dollar capital improvement program at the Marston, Moffat, and Foothills Treatment plants including 8 multi-million dollar projects and more the 75 smaller projects.2. Design and construction of the majority of the facilities associated with the first phase of the $153 million dollar Recycled Water Project.3. Negotiation and management of professional services in excess of $15 million dollars.4. Delivery of more than 90 PowerPoint presentations focused on solving problems in a systematic manner thereby keeping projects running smoothly and maintaining Board endorsement.
