  I was Assistant Stage Manager for Der Gelbe Stern, a production of the New York Musical Theatre Festival, 2014. Der Gelbe Stern tells the story of fictional Jewish cabaret star, Erika Stern, whose show embodies the excess and daring of the Weimar Republic. But as the Nazis get ever closer, Erika and the audience realize this nightclub performance will be her last.As an assistant stage manager I assisted the stage manager, production and creative team in what ever area needed a hand.   As stage manager for ArtsPower National Touring Theatre I held the artistic integrity of our children's theatre show as we drove around and performed in eighteen different states. As well, I tracked throughout the week our hours, miles driven, lunch breaks, overtime, and many other company manager-esque tasks. During the four month run of our show I was in charge of the upkeep of all technical elements while we were on the road. As stage manager for ArtsPower National Touring Theatre I held the artistic integrity of our children's theatre show as we drove around and performed in eighteen different states.
