We raised capital, ran a successful Kickstarter campaign, achieved international press recognition, were nominated for and won prizes, graduated from Steam Early Access and shipped a commercial indie game with next to no starting capital or publisher staying 100% independent during the notorious indiepocalypse. We also made a jam game in three days that made people cry, went on an art cabinet exhibition tour in France and was fan translated into 16 languages for some reason. Additionally I gave interviews, talks and taught at the Berlin Games Academy acting as an external stakeholder and counselor for the gate process of dozens of student projects. I learned a lot in those years and gained a comprehensive small scale overview of the entire process of not only game development but also management, business, marketing and publishing. Show less
