Speaking Your Language was a Government of Ontario funded tri-campus initiative between Ryerson University, OCAD University, and the University of Toronto, developed to identify the barriers to services that exist for international students experiencing mental health challenges.- Collaborated with our working group and student volunteers to create culturally sensitive peer support programs that bridged access to mental health education and treatment - Summarized findings from the fields of cross cultural psychology and international education for a literature review that also functions as a project manual- Organized and presented at the first national symposium on international student mental health- Helped develop educational and marketing materials- Created and managed social media campaigns- Designed and co-facilitated educational sessions in person and via webinar- Managed student volunteers across three campuses- Maintained positive communications with stakeholders, community partners, and student volunteers.
