My role at Kirlin is to assist our team of talented people in applying the latest technological advances in lighting to the evolving needs of our customers for medical, commercial and residential applications. In doing so, we create innovative fixtures carrying the distinctive characteristics that have been the hallmark of Kirlin for generations: Outstanding quality, unmatched reliability and enduring value. We are proud that the Kirlin Company is at the forefront of the industry in adapting to each new improvement in lighting as nimbly as possible. That reflects the fact that our product development is led by the needs of our customers. A client may come to us requiring a lighting system for a hospital’s Intensive Care Unit that minimizes the risk of transferring bacteria to a patient. They may want to illuminate a symphony hall with lighting that facilitates convenient maintenance and service. Perhaps they need tunable institutional lighting to help manage moods and behaviors in a difficult environment, or an LED fixture for a sauna that is insulated from moisture. We never shy away from an application challenge; rather, we’re energized to figure it out. Once we solve the technology riddle, we apply our time-tested manufacturing processes to create fixtures that are easy to install and built to last. For instance, we use superior materials in our fixtures, such as cool-operating rustproof aluminum, and coat it in acrylic enamel to avoid corrosion. Every single luminaire’s photometric performance is independently tested and reported, ensuring unbiased accuracy that specifiers can count on. And every luminaire receives white-glove treatment: all employees wear gloves while manufacturing and assembling fixtures and every shipment includes gloves for the installer. Yes, we are perfectionists. My job is to help the people in our company be the best they can for the benefit of the people we serve. It’s an honor to support this team every day. Show less
