It is now nearly 5 years since we first worked with Jan-Willem on a joint project with TTC on how to leverage the power of mobile phones in public engagement on climate change and environment conservation in the WWF Uganda Earth Hour Campaign of 2011. It was a phenomenal success and our work together laid a strong foundation for a wider and replicable the annual Earth Hour campaign in WWF Africa Country Offices which is now covering more than 5 countries on the continent. Jan-Willem brought his entire self to the task, his creativity, flexibility, passion and strong commitment to a cause. It was clear that Jan poured his whole self into making the task at hand a great success based on his deep care for the environment, planet earth and its people, nothing more. It was a great honor to work with such a great mind as Jan and I would highly recommend him for any similar and related tasks head.
