  I worked as a senior researcher affiliated to iMinds, a research institute to stimulate ICT innovation in Flanders, where he was project coordinator for techno-economic research within the Internet Based Communication Networks and Services group (IBCN). I was involved in several European and national projects with topics including the rollout of new fixed and wireless access networks, eHealth, smart grids and testbed infrastructures. I was project lead of the iMinds TERRAIN project on Techno-economic research for future access infrastructure networks, and research lead for the iMinds HIPS project, focusing on Innovation through coordinated and optimized Patient, Supply and information flows in Hospitals.
