Served as a member of the Global Corporate Strategy & Acquisitions group, providing leadership in global strategic initiatives. >> Developed lists of Asian acquisition targets and successfully executed and closed numerous transactions:February 2019. DSM acquired a 29% stake in Andre Pectin in 2013. After settling a shareholders’ dispute, DSM purchased an additional 46% stake in Andre Pectin for a consideration of about €150 million, which increased DSM’s total shareholding in the company to 75%.September 2017. Acquisition of a 65% stake in Rainbow Biotechnology Co, an Inner Mongolia (China) based producer of biogums.February 2017. Acquisition of Suzhou SunShine New Materials Technology Co., Ltd, a China-based manufacturer of a novel, high-performance solar photovoltaic (PV) backsheet.August 2013. Acquisition of a 29% stake in Andre Pectin, a China-based producer of texturing ingredients. Negotiated a joint venture agreement, including option rights.
