      Topic: Lightweight structural concepts for diasaster relief shelteringThe current humanitarian disaster relief catalogue shows us that there are still sheltering typologies for disaster affected sites missing. Two lightweight concepts have been designed and investigated to broaden the range of available shelter solutions: the Clever roof shelter kit and the Tensairity shelter. Each concept considers parameters like functionality, level of technology, structural performance, total cost, durability, set-up time and weight. The Clever roof shelter kit highlights parameters like cost, weight and level of technology, while the Tensairity shelter concept is focussed on durability and structural performance.
