I was responsible for the day to day management of the Barnardos Children’s Safety Programme. In this role I participated in assessments with parents/caregivers who had a child/children who have been affected by family harm. In this role I supervised social work students and the Supervised Contact Coordinator. I also had the privilege of delivering an Aotearoa New Zealand Association of Social Work webinar on use of The Strength based model, and on the Barnardos Christchurch Children's Safety Programme.
