  I started with Emborg in Denmark right after university. My position was Sales Trainee Eastern Europe. However, within a year I was Area Sales Manager for Russia and The Baltic States. In 1995 I was posted in Moscow, where I worked as Sales Manager with FMCGs and Food service, while participating in the negotiations with the local partner, about the take over of a local wholesale and distribution business, with app. 85 employees. This resulted in Emborg Foods AO being established i 1997, and I became Assistant General Director. From 1998 I was then posted to the Middle East, which was a strong hold for Emborg Foods A/S, and generated close to 25% of its over all revenue at the time. From a base in Dubai, UAE, I was Regional Sales Manager, with direct sales responsibility for Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Yemen. Show less
