A fifth generation Oregonian and Aurora Colony descendant, Jan has many ties to the Portland community. After graduating from the University of Oregon with a degree in Business Administration, she moved to Portland and has made the Portland Metro area her home. Jan has a long corporate history in marketing and professional sales which has included 16 years as a Pharmaceutical Rep. She has also owned a variety of real estate investments in the metro area which have included a custom built home by a well-known local builder, a San Francisco style house designed by noted architect Carl Linde and listed on the National Historic Registry, and the Lester John home, developer of John’s Landing, located in Kings Heights. Jan has been busy with school auctions and other volunteer work, enjoys watching the various Lincoln sports teams compete, and loves to exercise at the MAC. Jan has supported the Native American community throughout the years, enjoys collecting Native American baskets and Navajo jewelry, and is a board member of the Native American Art Council at the Portland Art Museum.
