Jan recruited me to Nordnet for the role of Content Cost Manager two years ago. The role, being relatively new was somewhat undefined at the time and in hindsight this was one of the main reasons I loved the role so much. Despite the role being relatively undefined, Jan had a very clear idea from the start of what he envisioned for it, and what value it would bring to Nordnet. Jan is an amazing leader. Jan has the ability to give you the freedom to be creative on your job and drive results, while at the same time point you in the right direction so you keep growing. He is inspiring, visionary and strategic, while at the same time he cares about the details which makes realizing a strategy crucial. Being an iconic figurehead in the financial industry, I believe what many may not know about Jan is how hard he actually works. If he believes in something he goes all out to make it happen. He doesn't just depend on others to do all the work, he leads by example. I have seen this again and again during the time Jan was with Nordnet before he decided to pursue his dreams elsewhere. Working with Jan was a fantastic experience. Any company looking for a change leader to realize it's known and hidden potential will benefit greatly by Jan and everything he has to offer. I wish him the very best in his future endeavours.

Most people know Jan as a public figure and an opinionated business executive. I'm fortunate enough to work directly with Jan. He has a deep understanding of leadership, the financial industry and digital strategy, but what makes my job a lot easier is his extended knowledge of public relations. A terrific speaker, writer and rhetorician. Jan is a passionate perfectionist that embraces all challenges and has a seemingly never-ending apetite for knowledge. He walks, talks and thinks fast, but somehow always manages to find the time to make the people around him laugh. A lot.
