Assist in development of information management infrastructure to support business operations. Perform SQL Server 2012 database administration tasks and provide database support for website and custom database application. Develop Windows forms-based, C# .NET client/server application. Work closely with users to identify and document business requirements and translate them to information and systems specifications. Targeted manually-intensive data entry and management tasks and designed and developed database solutions using triggers, stored procedures, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) or SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to automate them. Designed and developed a database infrastructure to enable easier database troubleshooting. This infrastructure included: triggers to log before/after snapshots, triggers to enforce updating auditing fields and an separate auditing log table that's purged by data instead of timeframe. Implemented database unit testing using RedGate SQL Test and tSQLt framework to test stored procedures, functions, triggers and views. The database unit tests are run by a Cruise Control Continuous Integration (CI) project which identifies problems as new code is checked in to Visual Studio TFS 2012 source control. Show less
