My role was as Executive Assistant to the Chairman of the Board, Manufacturing Director, Finance Director (all owners of the business) and General Manager. I organised overseas travel and accommodation for the Owners and the General Manager of the Company. Commenced as Receptionist responsible for all Year 11 and 12 enrolments and all Apprenticeship enrolments. Responsible in conjunction with Heads of School for mid and end of year Student Report compilation and mail out. Promoted to Secretary to the Company Secretary in 1996. Responsible for compilation and distribution of Board papers to all members and arranging of monthly Board meetings. I was Minute Secretary for monthly Staffing, Property and Equipment, Equal Opportunity, Historical and Health and Safety Committees. The SMB Board included Members of Parliament, Members of Local Council, Community Members and staff. The role of Secretary also covered responsibilities in the areas of personnel, payroll and facilities. These areas fell under the responsibility of the Company Secretary.
