I was reporting into Jan for two years as part of the "Corporate IT" management team which was formed during a group wide org structure change. I truly enjoyed working for Jan, as our relationship quickly developed onto a base of "Truth, Trust, Transparency". Driven by these simple principles, Jan formed a real team with the six of us as his directs. His passion and commitment as well as his ability to balance strength/consistency and the human touch act as a role model for me. He always kept his promises and was a reliable advocate of not only his domain, but also his people.
