The Next Stage Design is a decorating company that has two main branches to it's business. One is working with homeowners who are putting their house on the market for sale. My job is to evaluate the home to know what is needed to bring about the best look for the house and any upgrades needed to bring about the most profit for the lowest investment. The result is a home wanted by many (high demand) with a minimum in investment. This benefits both the home seller and the home buyer making this business essential for the future housing market. As inventory of houses increases more demand will be placed on the appeal and move in condition of the seller's home. The homes ready with character, beauty and style will sell first. The second part of this business is helping homeowners make the most of what they have in the way of decorating their homes. It isn't what you have, it is how you use it. Anyone can buy all new and make it look good it takes talent to use the things you have and make them look new. This can save the homeowner thousands of dollar in the following ways: "Fixing" a flaw in the house by the arrangement of furniture (ex. 4 entrances from other rooms into a living room or making a small room appear larger), making transition to a larger home, downsizing, using a color to neutralize another color (ex. toning down granite counter-tops in a color you don't like), and many more. Just because a client doesn't know what to do to fix a problem doesn't mean it can't be fixed. Show less
