  A student consultancy project with the Cost Engineering Department at Bentley Motors in Crewe to improve internal processes and identify opportunities for the department to become more dynamic. During the 6 month experience: we worked from the clients brief, presented a proposal, conducted research in the form of interviews and surveys, wrote both a detailed report of our findings and a synthesized report for relevant stakeholders and did a final presentation. My role in this project was the Academic researcher. Responsibilities include:- Using academic sources to identify how to conduct the research to meet the clients brief and to support the recommendations based on our findings.- Created and presented project specifications to the client and other stakeholders. - Wrote two reports on our findings and research using Microsoft Office.- Assisted in data collection: conducted interviews and transcribed and wrote survey. - Performed accurate and critical data analysis of data collected from interviews and surveys- Utilised SharePoint to manage files and data- Considered ethics when conducting research – showing respect for the privacy of persons Show more Show less
