      Under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer, the CQI Director is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of HCC’s Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Plan for assuring and continuously improving the quality of HCC’s operations and outcomes. This includes the systematic gathering and assimilation of data by which the delivery of quality integrated patient care is measured and validated, focusing primarily on ways to improve patient care and staff performance as it relates to the effectiveness, efficiency, satisfaction with, and outcomes of patient care. The CQI Director is a member of the Executive Leadership Team and participates with other Team members to design and refine strategic plan goals related to process and quality improvement. This process is facilitated by engaging health center staffs at all levels in a way that fosters a culture of open communication and continuous improvement. The CQI Director is responsible for preparing, authoring and presenting CQI and related information for review by Executive Leadership Team members, the Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Committee, the governing body, and regulatory and accreditation agencies. The CQI Director collaborates with the Director of IT Operations to monitor and maintain the integrity of the content and functionality of HCC’s practice management and electronic health record systems, eClinicalWorks and Teneleven.
