I work with senior leaders and high-growth organizations so that they can make a positive difference for themselves, their teams and organizations, and the world.As a prior executive in a commercial real estate development organization, I understand what it’s like to feel stuck in the weeds, perceive that there is not enough time or energy to sustainably pursue something more, not know quite where to start with getting my ideas out there, and not skillfully create the momentum with others to make amplified positive impact. Although it is possible to reach goals through pushing, it can be exhausting and ineffective.AND I know the difference it makes to come from a values and purpose-based approach, model this for others to align to their values and shared purpose, and move forward more productively, collaboratively, creatively, and successfully. This builds on potential and fulfilment, and benefits each person, the team, the organization, and stakeholders.As an international coach, I know how to support senior leaders to gain clarity, create space and energy for strategic thinking and creativity, and be in sustainable action, inspiring people around positive impact. I oversaw the Operations and was instrumental in the growth of this successful, Western Canadian, commercial real estate development and management company. My responsibilities spanned the operations of 10 companies over 3 offices and encompassed facilitating the corporation’s growth and the transition.In my role, I put the vision into action with the team through strategic planning and execution to realize corporate goals and objectives. This included building on strengths and also planning for contingencies and mitigating challenges that arose, handling Human Resources initiatives, and managing budgets, investor reporting, leasing, property management, contract enforcement, and legal work, and being a liaison for external legal requirements. I also coordinated due diligence on real estate acquisitions, financing, and sales. Periodically, I acted as interim President for up to two months at a time.
