  It was my responsibility to ensure that customers, in both the pool and surrounding poolside, were acting in a safe manner. When needed, I would appropriately intervene to warn customers of their behaviour and the danger it may cause themselves or to others close by. Poolside was often a high intense situation and I was always calmly focused.Away from poolside, I was responsible for any first aid incident. It was vital to be first on the scene and assess the customer for injury, whilst effectively liaising with colleagues explaining symptoms, medical equipment required and if ambulance is to be needed.
