      Performing a wide range of electronic based activities including preventative maintenance of Schlumberger’s assets both Onshore & Offshore vessels/rigs.-Completing full electrical inspection schedules on a plethora of cementing equipment including Hydraulic Power Packs, Batch Mixers, Engine & Pump Skids, and complete mobile and fixed cement units.- General maintenance and monitoring of electronic workshop equipment, including calibration of multiple sensors that perform measurements for pressure, temperature, density, volume flow and motor speed.- Performing routine tasks such as procuring materials and calibrated electronic equipment according to materials requirement sheets and appropriately packaging and arranging transport from internal and 3rd party providers.- Co-ordinating maintenance activities with Mechanical and High-Pressure Manifold Technicians to certify Cementing equipment with required documentation, under timed deadlines before transportation to 3rd party client’s offshore installations.- Liaising with colleagues, management, and 3rd party clients to organise upcoming jobs and acquire documentation, equipment and specialised tools required to complete the preventative maintenance.- Using various Computer systems and Microsoft packages such as Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Teams and Quest to communicate with personnel, complete internal training courses provided by Schlumberger as well as updating any relevant safety observations/incident reports to maintain and monitor a safe working environment. Maximo and Intouch systems are also used to update certification of equipment/monitor progress of current jobs.Currently a member of the SET team which is a group specialised in creating initiatives for employees to become more involved in their company and fellow colleagues as well as equipment that could benefit the workshop’s ability to complete daily tasks. Positioned in the Well Construction Fluids division, particularly Offshore Cementing. This incorporates preparing Cementing units and other equipment for the Preventative Maintenance and Repairs , operating on many offshore installations and drilling vessels.This apprenticeship with SLB greatly increased my plethora of knowledge and understanding of the Oil & Gas Industry. In Schlumberger, I will undergo a further 24 months of training as a Maintenance Electronic Technician Trainee to increase my expertise in the discipline and receive an SVQ Level 3 upon completion of the apprenticeship.
