Bio

I met Jamie through my former Director years ago and have maintained a strong professional relationship. I had the honor to participate in the Altruism Institute (http://www.altruisminstitute.org/) last year that Jamie leads. I was so inspired by her and the contributors she selected to lead the retreat. It was the perfect combination of bringing your whole emotional self and your professional self to a retreat to share, learn, reflect and create a path forward in the careers we choose. Jamie brings commitment and passion to advancing the operations and systems for the parks and recreation field. She is a master at developing innovative solutions to challenging issues like park programming, strategic planning and operations. She’s got real grit to get things done with a sense of humor and kindness to lead the way. And she also knows how to assemble the right teams for the challenge at hand. Being a data person, I appreciate how Jamie brings a data-driven approach to problem-solving. Jamie has real drive and focus and a lot of deep experience in the field. I’m honored to work with Jamie and to know her. I would highly recommend Jamie if you are looking to improve a plan or systems for your city or town’s parks and recreation operations!

I had the privilege of getting to work with Jamie for a short time while I was a graduate assistant at Illinois State University. She was an outstanding leader and I really enjoyed the opportunity to get to know her. She leaves a lasting impression of someone you would always want to have on your team to work with in any setting. I know you'll enjoy the chance to meet her.
