Mr. Jones has been an outstanding teacher for my daughter. I cannot recommend him enough – he is an exceptional force within the education field. He first taught my daughter two years ago, in Grade 1. We relocated overseas from America for the first time as a family and one of our biggest fears was the impact that kind of move would have on our children. Our daughter was very anxious about her new school environment as she had just gone through an incredibly positive experience back in the United States. This was compounded when she found out Mr. Jones was a

It gives me great pleasure to put into words exactly what Mr. Jamie Jones has done for my son, Caleb Booysen as his educator during his time in Grade 1 at Chaoyang Kaiwen Academy in Beijing China. As an international family moving to China, the transition was never going to be easy. The many challenges that we were going to have to meet head on, such as the culture and the communication barriers, were for us as adults already looking daunting. For our two boys it was going to be even more challenging as at ages 7 and 9 at the time of arrival, they had no clue that their whole world was about to be turned upside. Not only were the entering a new curriculum but they were coming half-way through the academic year. . If not for the unrelenting support from the school, spearheaded by Mr. Jones, we would have had a very different outlook on our time here. Unselfishly giving of his personal time to ensure that my 7-year-old, who was in his homeroom class, got everything possible to assist him in his transition. Mr. Jones created additional learning resources, spent additional time and even offered to personally provide additional learning support once in grade 2 to ensure that my son was on par. Mr. Jones is a kind and attentive educator with the ability to be firm if and when necessary. He displayed an array of teaching skills which has resulted in my son now having the foundation to flourish in all aspects of learning in China. Without the professional and personal approach shown by Mr. Jones I do believe that we would be struggling to adjust to our new home and the schooling methods here in China. Mr. Jones has the ability to relate to one and all on a personal and professional level, and his strong work ethic is evident in the results he has achieved during his professional teaching career. I would like to wish Mr. Jones all the best, and ongoing success in his journey as an educator.
