  As the Chief Estimator reporting directly to the Managing Director, I am responsible for providing budgetary, cost estimates and technical input into quality submissions for a range of civil engineering, groundworks and insitu reinforced concrete frame projects with values ranging between £500,000 - £40,000,000. Reviewing enquiries and determining if it is suitable for bidding Preparation of estimates and bid documentation for a variety of commercial, industrial, residential, public and private schemes Experience of plan review, cost, earthwork analysis and bid solicitation within all phases of tender development Determining procurement items from the scope of supply and obtain offers and quotations from third party supplies / subcontractors Liaison with Clients representative to establish project specific requirements, including legal and finance Preparations with Planning Engineer / Technical Proposal Manager / Commercial Proposal Manager project programme and manpower histograms, agree upon project milestones, establish critical path. Presentation of tender for adjudication with Managing Director/Divisional Operations Director. Representative at Board Meetings to deliver tendering function. Co-ordination of handover, post tender award, from tender to project team. Undertake Negotiation until contract award. Major Contracts of Note Secured include Westfield Shopping development @ Stratford - £9.5m; Olympic Park Stratford – Media Hub Substructures & External Works - £15m; Royal Arsenal, Woolwich CrossRail Box Works - £9.3m; Battersea Power Station Phase 1 Enabling/Groundworks - £36m; 1 Crown Place; Enabling Works - £5m; Anerley Residential Development (Fairview New Homes) - £9m.
