Initially hired on to cover sales for South San Diego for one of my favorite breweries of the time (that makes one of my favorite stouts- the Zumbar chocolate coffee stout). After increasing sales by over 30% in the south, the owner let the North county rep go and had me take over the entire market. Successfully convinced the owner over time to rebrand with a more modern color scheme and style, and in doing so helped to improve the trajectory of this brand. Hired on to help a flagging brewery turn sales around. Managed sales for the entire company while assisting the new CEO with learning the business and developing new products to improve sales. Headed the effort to create a new brew that would improve business and successfully sold the owners and new CEO on the idea of creating a new fruited IPA with improved, modern marketing. That beer (the Blood Orange IPA) went on the become the best-selling beer in all of San Diego.
