Providing care and conservation for the Museum's diverse collections. This encompasses all aspects of practical as well as preventive conservation and includes management of a multi-site environmental monitoring system. My role supports a busy exhibition and loan programme by preparing condition reports, mounts and assistance during installation. I am responsible for sourcing and supervising specialist external conservation project work. In addition to this I support research into the Museum's collection by carrying out analytical investigation of objects and liaise with Regimental Museums throughout the country to offer advice on conservation and best practice.
