On the 12th day of January 2007 a new surf travel company was born. The proud parents were travel buddies Jamie Gray and Rhonda Burton, whose passions for surfing and traveling have nurtured this baby from birth into the #1 Surf Travel Company in the World.Jamie’s 13 years experience working in the hospitality & tourism industry; and Rhonda’s 8 years at Flight Centre in management roles, plus their 17 years each of travelling experiences, and Jamie’s immense love and addiction to surfing - gave TPW all the knowledge required to be a success from day 1.Now, 15 years in, they have grown faster than any other surf travel company. They have a new partner, BT, another passionate surfer and traveller who is growing their Europe offices in France, Spain & UK; and with other headquarters in Cronulla, NZ, USA, Maldives, Japan, Morocco and Indonesia, TPW can now better service their clients from wherever they may be.The secret to their success is that the number 1 priority has always been, and will always be, their clients. They now have literally tens of thousands of happy clients, and they strive every day to create new and exciting surf “experiences” that give their clients something more than just a holiday or surf trip…..experiences that have the potential to be life changing. They have also invented the first ever surfer rewards program – Perfection Pass, to reward their repeat clients, and give something back for every trip they do. In June 2014 they created the first event for their new brand “Surf Music in Paradise” with Donavon Frankenreiter in the Maldives. Since then they have gone on to host events with iconic Australia artists Bernard Fanning, Xavier Rudd, Pete Murray, Tex Perkins, Daryl Braithwaite, Richard Clapton and Phil Jameson (Grinspoon). They have created life changing events with legendary bands like Sunnyboys, Hoodoo Gurus, Ocean Alley and Jimmy Barnes / Ian Moss (Cold Chisel).

2005 Runner up for Best New Restaurant Sydney Metropolitan. Voiaj, in the Little Italy strip of East Sydney, bravely resists this social simplification. Describing itself as "Sydney's newest and most imaginative restaurant", it invites parody with such overcapitalised menu items as "Sesame crusted Crocodile with Ivory coast Tropical fruit sauce", "Seared New Zealand scallops, duck confit on roasted pineapple with Raspberry glaze", "Chargrilled kangaroo fillet with pepperberry sabayon, potato and leek rosti, fig compote and roast garlic", and "Fillet of Camel with soft brown lentils, roast buttered pumpkin and coriander yoghurt".

Experiencing this amazing world we live in by traveling for many years spending as much time as possible surfing or skiing. In this time i was very fortunate to work for a multitude of different businesses, especially in hospitality as this was my preferred industry of employment. From nightclubs in Greece to the slopes of Canada and everything in between, i lived, worked & traveled through Europe, Africa, Middle East, Asia & North America. This was my University degree of which i will have as amazing memories forever.
