  Sales and Business Development Engineer allows me to identify and develop new opportunities in the industrial, commercial, and residential & generation connection. I work closely with the sales director and estimating team in order to manager the commercial risks and secure financial commitment from our clients in order to meet the company sales targets. I work with existing and future customers allowing me to identify, develop and secure new electricity connection projects throughout the UK. The role allows me to bring technical knowledge to the clients at a tendering stage and overcoming any technical barriers prior the design stage. My responsibilities are to provide reports, feedback and relevant KPI information. I also have to promote the company, maximise opportunities, and prioritise workflow to ensure proposal deadlines are achieved.

  Civil Planning and Design Engineer enables me work on major projects within the design department. Recent projects include designing 11kV - 66kV sub-stations, reinforced concrete foundations and plinths. The designs are bespoke for every project and have to be designed to the Eurocodes standard along with the appropriate Distribution Network Operators G81 documents. My role as a Civil Planning and Design engineer allows me to go onsite and see how the designs are being installed. I also carry out electrical design on projects of 11kV - 33kV that include the design of new HV and LV connections. I work closely with other electrical engineers within the design office to ensure that all projects are completed on time and on budget whilst meeting the quality level that the client expects.
