Computer Support Technician

Aug 2007 - Dec 2013
I recognised there was a potential market for baby boomers who loved technology, were able to purchase all the latest hardware and needed help to understand how this technology operated and connected. Using education and support, I was able to bring technology shy people into the 21st century where they could participate in the computer/mobile revolution. Sales Representative
-
Jan 2003 - Aug 2007
As a sales representative for a mid to upmarket furnishing fabric company, I learned quickly that, while sales were important, building and maintaining customer relationships was my priority. One of my key strengths was being the 'go to' guy, clients knew they could contact me to help solve any of a variety of design problems to do with the sourcing of fabrics. Bottleshop Manager / Assistant Buyer/ Stock Controller /Hotel Logistics & Communications

Apr 1993 - Dec 2002
What started as an interest in wine, turned into a 10-year love affair that saw me manage the boutique 'Woollahra Hotel' Bottle Shop for most of those 10 years. As a part of a small, but dedicated, management team we prided ourselves on our selection of wines, wine knowledge and customer service. Under the guidance of Lynette Haszard we ran a series of unique wine tastings, namely 'Woman in Wine', 'Point Noir Around Australia' and others that are still copied in the industry today.
