Bio
Margaret Lamb
I was one of Jamie (Donoghue) Bellenoit’s teaching supervisors for three years at the University of Connecticut. She taught the capstone research and writing course for students in the Individualized Major Program. She was a thoughtful, effective teacher who was highly successful in helping students to shape research projects well tailored to their interests and individualized plans of study. Of all of the graduate instructors with whom I have worked, Jamie was among the most effective and engaging in the classroom. Jamie is an excellent, reliable colleague. She is a natural teacher. She is enthusiastic, accessible, and able to communicate important insights about writing and research to a heterogeneous group of students.
