As a general outpatient extern at Mount Washington Pediatric Hospital, I treat and test clients presenting with a range of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, social deficits, acculturation difficulties, and family-dynamic stress. I enjoy taking a strength-based approach with adolescent clients and have found particular success with CBT, ACT, and DBT techniques when addressing identity development and life transitions. Being a member of the Phonathon team has been a highly enriching experience. As a caller, I have amazing conversations with alumni and parents of Loyola every week. I've personally raised over $30,000 for the university and am looking forward to the next milestone. What I most enjoy about Phonathon is the positive work atmospher and reconnecting with so many members of the Loyola community.

I am especially known to complete a variety of projects quickly and efficiently with my small staff of seasonal workers. These challenges are addressed through redirection and empowerment of the youths. What I am learning from my scholars are the needs of their Baltimore community, the challenges they commonly face both familiar and socially, and the resources and tools that they need to successfully thrive.
