Greetings, I have known Mr. James Reid for over 10 years, have witnessed his career growth, and had the pleasure of directly working with him for over 24 months. James is an expert in numerous informational management systems, problem solving, skilled in diplomatic and communication talents always building a coalition of the willing, has an uncanny ability to see the ripple effects of issues and their downstream impacts early, and always went the extra mile, worked late to finish the task, and ensured staff was always recognized who helped. Mr. Reid was my senior manager and was responsible for providing operational and logistical oversight of our Nation’s Deployable Healthcare Platforms. Those healthcare platforms ranged from small Level II Medical Support companies up to a large Level III Medical Hospitals and Mr. Reid assisted them in an end to end fashion. Mr. Reid assisted by meeting with the Senior Leadership prior to their deploying the unit, discussed and reviewed required manning requirements, logistical requirements, fiscal requirements, and operational requirements. He also assisted individual managers with successfully establishing their respective accounts in the proper informational management systems in order to operate within the new environment. Upon arrival Mr. Reid then assisted leaders and managers with meeting the relevant Joint Accreditation standards in all areas. For example, the largest he assisted with was the 44th Medical Command which contained all necessary functions to provide care for 250 beds, including 2 intensive care units, 8 medical wards, emergency room, 4 operating rooms, orthopedic room, laboratory, X-ray and pharmacy. The 44th Medical Command deployed hard containers which housed the operating rooms, laboratory, X-ray, and pharmacy. The pre-coordination, pre-assistance, on site coaching, and help rendered by Mr. Reid enable this unit to receive one of its highest operational assessments in history. Mr. Reid is a multi-tasker, has high emotional intelligence, team player, and would be a strong asset to any team!!
