Earlier this year James arranged a new package of insurance for my business to replace cover purchased from a well-known online insurer when I first launched. For some time, I had been concerned that my original cover whilst affordable didn’t fit the relatively unusual profile of my business and if the worst occurred might not provide the cover needed. Before James quoted, I first secured quotes from a couple of alternative providers. These both came with greatly improved cover, but also a significant increase in my premium. James was also able to offer vastly improved cover but, with a little work secured this at a price only a little more expensive than the quote from my original insurer making the decision to place my business with Rawlins easy. The new cover was arranged by James with the minimum of fuss and has since provided valuable peace of mind. Yesterday I had cause to contact James again to enquire about how my cover might need to be adjusted considering planned changes in my business. I received a clear and helpful response to this enquiry from James within an hour of sending my email. Since we met, I have been consistently impressed by the extensive knowledge and professional service James offers and would have no hesitation in recommending James and Rawlins insurance to any other small business, especially anyone who feels the cookie-cutter approach of the big online insurers might not fit their needs.

Tuesday, 20 April 2021 For the past 4 years I have been a member of The North Staffs Health and Safety Group. At the time I joined they were losing their treasurer, and I was asked if I would take over the role due to my accounting background. I took on this role with relish, and each month produced the profit and loss along with raising any new, or renewing membership invoices and certificates. The group is run as a charity and therefore we must ensure we have the correct insurance in place. Due to workloads our Chair asked if I would look after the renewal this year.
