Designed specifically for reconnaissance and urban operations, the main mission of these vehicles is to protect our fighting men and women from land mines, hostile fire and improvised explosive devices (IEDs). Reponsibilities included: Managed a team of 17 engineers in support of a rapid prototype project in preparation for an international defense contract competition. Collaborated across corporate functions to efficiently plan, resource, and account for a $4.5 million dollar engineering budget. Created and reported Project Engineering metrics to the Director and Vice President of Engineering. Key accomplishments: • Implemented the Analytical Hierarchy Process to prioritize a $9 million Engineering Budget according to corporate goals and strategy. • Formulated and executed a prototyping process to allow for rapid procurement of armored vehicle components.
