  I volunteered, and was evaluated to enter into the physically and mentally challenging path to become a Scout Sniper. This long process tested not only my physical abilities but also tested and strengthened my problem-solving, leadership, risk identification and mitigation, alternative solution development, and communications capabilities. I then attended follow-on advanced instruction and evaluation at the Urban Scout Sniper Course where I successfully passed all required events, and furthered my experience to bring added expertise back to my unit.
