Being a Customer Service Assistant within Hyde Hall has given me valuable experience in working within a team to a high standard. This role was demanding, requiring me to work very quickly whilst still maintaining good customer service. This means I am skilled at working under pressure whilst still taking pride in what I produce and keeping consistent. This role helped me to develop a variety of skills, as it involved looking after the Club’s finances whilst also staying on top of my studies. Organisation and timekeeping were essential for this, and enabled me to stay on top of my tasks even during the pandemic. This shows a determination to do well in my role even when challenges present themselves. Working in a WHSmith travel store within a hospital was very demanding as I would be facing all kinds of people, from happy school children to NHS Staff and patients on the daily. This position needed great communication skills and a conscientious attitude as I was left to run the store independently on a weekly basis. This was a big responsibility, and meant that I had to be alert and work hard at all times. I and three colleagues worked for 6 weeks on recreating Hadleigh Castle digitally in the 14th century so that it can be a virtual museum. I and my group were responsible for making the 3D environment in Unreal Engine 4, Program the environment to be user friendly and make it using only reference images as the castle today is mostly destroyed. We also produced a video walkthrough of the castle that would later be published on YouTube so that the client can use the video for advertisement. Show less
