When I first started in HR, someone once said to me; “you will never have a dull day”, and while at Reaction Group this has been true. During my time with Reaction Group I have advised management on disciplinary cases, long term sickness absence issues, grievance concerns, as well as training and development. Moreover, I administer the recruitment and selection process, from writing the job advert, placing the advert on a recruitment website, short listing candidates, and then inviting and interviewing the short listed applicants. Once selected, I will compose the applicants starting documents, such as conditional and unconditional offer letters, contract of employment, and other internal documents such as a personal details form. Other tasks include, calculating staff annual leave entitlements, updating annual leave cards, writing contract amendments, dealing with any HR queries that the staff may have, producing HR related letters, and advising on legislation changes such as GDPR. Being the only member of the Reaction Group HR team, I have gained an enormous amount of experience, and I hope to continue to do so. Show less

Working with Quay HR was a very varied job role. My main duties and responsibilities include administering Human Resources records, file employee-related documents, producing minutes of meeting, schedule meetings, appointments and making travel arrangements. In general I helped in assisting the Director as necessary in all aspects of HR management from recruitment, to managing employee relations issues and termination of employment . Working with Quay HR was a very varied job role. My main duties and responsibilities include administering Human Resources records, file employee-related documents, producing minutes of meeting, schedule meetings, appointments and making travel arrangements. In general I helped in assisting the Director as necessary in all aspects of HR management from recruitment, to managing employee relations issues and termination of employment .
