I have known James since first meeting him in the early 2000s at East Midlands where he was working for Lufthansa Cargo. I was part of the Aerologic implementation team managing the JV between DHL and LH Cargo and James was part of the local operations team handling the flights themselves at EMA. Since then we have worked together for DHL and AeroLogic, the airline, when I was the DHL project manager and he had joined the airline in a ground handling role. After I left DHL I consulted extensively for AeroLogic and our relationship was even closer. When James joined Qatar Airways I was requested to assist him, as a consultant, helping to develop their freighter network. After he joined DHL I offered informal advice. James is a very focused and driven individual who is extremely keen on quality and accuracy - and he has demonstrated this in all the roles he has undertaken during his career. I have watched him develop with interest and have been pleased with the way his thinking, decision making and, indeed, horizons have broadened during the course of our acquaintance. I have no hesitation in recommending James for any role that requires a detailed approach and where he is required to drive through results. He is excellent with people and will go on to greater heights.

James and I worked together in 2004-2006 whilst at DHL’s EMA HUB. We represented our respective companies for a newly formed joint venture for Intercontinental cargo transport. James was always very respectful in his dealings but firm on what his company needed. We formed a very good working relationship built on trust and we still keep in touch today. James comes highly recommended.
