  My previous employment afforded me the opportunity to travel for significant periods of time out of the country, it was necessary to take a Career Break on Medical Grounds. Due to the length time dealing with the NHS to resolve these issues, it was not practical to do this while working. Following full recovery and as a prelude to joining the Royal Navy as a Reservist, I decided to spend further time to improve my fitness with an aggressive long term training program, in order to ensure my successful recruitment.

  Technical Consultant:• Saudi Telecom (Saudi Arabia)–Long term project, requiring continuous onsite presence for duration of project. Liaise with primary contractors and clients on all matters relating to implementation including sizing and specification of Product Hardware. Liaise with back office support to resolve software/technical issues and arrange direct network connections to client network. Responsible for management of numerous implementation and testing environments, involving database creation, population, software and patch installation, subsequent updates and backups.Implementation Consultant:• Romtel (Romania), Romtel/Geneva Patch Release Manager–Long term project initially onsite, final month’s offsite. Includes on request installation of relevant patches into any of the 26 active implementation and test environments. Also requires generation of new patches for an array of different components of final the solution. Generation involves bringing together necessary patch components, producing updated release documentation, combining into a release package and issuing final patch to relevant parties.• British Telecom (UK), BT FeatureNET PPP–Long term project, participating from software testing stage. Performed substantial and rigorous testing and debugging of every aspect of code to ensure software processes supplied test data correctly. Maintain documentation and generate software packages for delivery. Participate in final delivery, installation, and acceptance of System. Appointed sole support consultant, requiring further additional site visits over the following 1-2 years while participating in subsequent projects.• T-Online (Germany)–Long term project.Microsoft Excel based tariff builder. Required to generate a Microsoft Excel spread sheet capable of processing key information on tariffs to generate or update all the relevant permutations of database records allowing for expedited updates of Implementation and subsequently Production Systems.
