  North Middlesex Hospital Multi Storey Car park (December 2021-Present) - RG CarterCurrently working on the construction of the new multi storey car park for the maternity unit at the North Middlesex Hospital. As the project QS my responsibility is to prepare and submit detailed application for payment which involves me in the remeasurement of works carried out on site. Our application is twice monthly based on an NEC contract measured in accordance of NRM2.Knebworth House (January 2021-December 2021) - Facil ProductionsThis project was the construction of a film set for an upcoming blockbuster movie. As the project QS my responsibility was to prepare and submit detailed applications for payment which involved me in the remeasurement of works carried out on site. In addition to this I managed smaller specialist contractor packages, this involved the procurement, measurement and valuation of their applications and agreeing final accounts. Goodman’s Bedford Enabling Package (January 2021-August 2021) - Readie ConstructionThis project was the enabling package to a larger package of works that unfortunately we didn’t secure. The enabling works included a 200m reinforced concrete haul road which incorporated 2 culverts to allow the streams to continue to flow through the haul road. The enabling package also included site welfare foundations and services. As the project QS my responsibility is to prepare and submit detailed applications for payment this which involved the remeasurement of works carried out on site. Our Applications were monthly and measured in accordance of SMM7.

• Assistant Quantity Surveyor

  HMP Wellingborough (August 2020-January 2021) - KierThis project was a complete reconstruction of HMP Wellingborough. The groundworks package alone was £12m. As and assistant surveyor on the project I was in charge of the drainage element and had to complete an entire take off of drainage required before the project started. Once the project commenced, I then moved on to completing as built measures from drawings and site measurements for incorporation into monthly applications for payment. After a short period of time I handed this over and ran my own projects for the company.Warner Brothers JKR Stage (June 2019-August 2020) - Bowmer & KirklandThis project was the expansion to the ‘Wizarding World of Harry Potter’ at Leavesden, Watford. The project comprised of multiple large Steel frame units for Warner Brothers. My role on this project was to create take offs and measure the works carried out on site. I Compiled the relevant information required for the project QS to complete their Valuations. I was given smaller contractors packages to manage for work which had been sublet to them. This included procurement of contractors, measuring work completed, assessing valuations and then agreeing final accounts with the contractors.Additional Projects • Retail Outlet – Botley – SDC Builders - £80m• Student Accommodation – Northampton – Kier - £40m

  Began with Vinci where I carried out a one year rotational scheme across various construction departments including Quantity Surveying. I then chose my path of Quantity Surveying and worked for one year on a large student accommodation project. Mitchams Corner – Student Accommodation - £20m Construction and fitout of student accommodation, consisting of 6 individual 3 & 4 storey blocks containing 211 single room studios, double studios and single/double ensuite rooms, together with common areas and kitchen / living room clusters. In addition, a 400m2 Sainsbury’s supermarket is incorporated into Block B. The building is a ‘SIGMAT’, light gauge steel frame build, with external brick cladding.
