Created spreadsheets for monitoring the efficiency of a prototype anti-barnacle painting system with tens of thousands spent in R&D. Identified a formulation error in a key Excel spreadsheet utilised to analyse equipment performance, potentially avoiding data reshoot costs which could have ran into hundreds of thousands of dollars. Led cross-departmental safety and quality audits and exceeded my target of writing 2 SAFE cards per 6-week trip. Awarded 2nd place in the 2011 Company Innovation award for the design of a system to reduce equipment loss. Promotions from trainee to operator in 2008 and to Senior in 2013. I undertook the above role to assist with the funding of my university studies. Initially commenced as bar staff but achieved promotion to Steward after demonstration of my leadership skills. Developed my skills including cellar management (handpicked to attend cellar management course at Hog’s Back Brewery, Surrey), Health and Safety, shift management over several bars, cashing up and resolving customer enquiries.
