I have worked very closely with James in the time we've been at the University of Reading and he has always been very hard working and reliable. We have worked together in project environments and he is always willing to take on extra tasks to ensure that things get done. I believe James' work ethic and willingness to help will be an asset to any company and I hope that we have the opportunity to work together in the future.

While working for CJ Homes I have gained a lot of valuable experience and gained further practical knowledge of the construction industry. I have included some of my achievements below: During an extended period of absence of the Company Director I undertook the position of sole Company Director. During this time I was required to liaise with solicitors, accountants, agents and customers. Promotion of a site for the new and emerging Local Development Framework (LDF). Whilst undertaking this work I gained a greater understanding of Planning Policy and how the Local Development Framework is constructed. This work gave me the opportunity to work alongside planners and developers and see things from both sides. I have also successfully undertook the renovation of external buildings adjacent to a barn conversion. This work involved painting, carpentry and gardening. I had to adhere to a tight timescale and finish the project within budget. I found this a challenging but very worthwhile experience. Show less
