I had the pleasure of hiring and working with James at Canine Therapy Corps. We were in the process of implementing Salesforce and needed someone to be our database administrator among other responsibilities. Despite having tech skills and experience, James had not worked in Salesforce. Nonetheless, he jumped in with both feet and built us new objects, updated others, and expanded our capabilities within the system. Beyond that, James is also an awesome colleague. Everyone on our staff connected with him immediately. He is a kind, generous, and caring co-worker who took a genuine interest and in others’ well-being and brought out the best in people. CTCorps’ full-time staff was small. All of us wore a lot of hats, all of which were outside of our formal job descriptions. James took the same ownership of those tasks as he did Salesforce. I enjoyed working with James immensely. He is a multi-talented, interesting, and well-rounded person and I miss seeing him every day.
