This included areas such as; the creation and evaluation of the School Development plan; commercial sustainability and financial planning to ensure we remained within agreed budgets; marketing and promotion of the school both internally and externally to ensure that the school roll was full in line with projections and that the transfer 20+ senior schools was continually enhanced and developed and a broad range of scholarships were achieved; monitoring, improving and developing learning and teaching standards through such things as INSET, learning walks and new appraisal systems; legislative and inspection compliance; staff appointments and development.
