Jim came to the district at a time when I was day to day in charge of much of the high school's computer systems and from day 1 has displayed great technical competence, political savvy, and an amazing ability to remain almost invisible to most of the staff while keeping all sorts of hard computer things working smoothly. And, he plays a mean harmonica. Happily, I was one the fortunate few who knew who he was and what he looked liked. Even 5 years after retirement, and occasionally over my head in a computer project for a local private school, he is a person I can turn to in a moment of desperation :)
